Br Anthony Crasta, aged 77 and 60 years in the Society of Jesus, went to his eternal abode today Saturday, 02 March in Father Muller Hospital, Mangaluru. The funeral Mass will be on Sunday, 03 March at Divine Mercy Church, (Fatima Retreat House), Mangaluru at 3PM. May the Lord grant his soul eternal rest.
Br Anthony Crasta was a Jesuit with a large heart, always cheerful, caring and loving. He loved and appreciated his vocation as a Jesuit Brother. He was a cherished resource during the early years of the "Nagaland Mission," where he undertook diverse responsibilities with unwavering dedication, earning the affection and admiration of all who knew him. He loved the boarders and the domestic staff as his own brothers and sisters and he was always concerned about their well-being.
While he was at Rome, he was a generous host to many Jesuits, religious, and clergy from India. The Province always felt that we have our "Br Tony” in Rome and we need not worry during our sojourn in the Eternal City.
